Ben Gallaher Releases New Album: ‘Country in the House’

Let me introduce you to Ben Gallaher, the smokey voiced rockin’ country singer from Pennsylvania. The 30-year-old signed to Stone Country Records recently released his first full length album, Country in the House. It’s a hitter. The 15-track album gets off to a fast start with the title track. Then, it doesn’t slow down at for the next 47 minutes. Ben has been on tour with some major artists. He’s opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Jr., Blake Shelton, and 3 Doors Down. You can hear the influences in his music. The song “Still a Few Cowboys Left” sounds almost more like a slow rock song than country. It’s awesome. Whereas in contrast songs like “Town Ain’t Dry” is an upbeat country song about a breakup.

I personally had never heard of Ben before listening to this album. I’m very impressed and can guarantee that he’s going to be on my radar for a long time. The balance between rock and country is perfect. In a time where Jelly Roll and Hardy are dominating in both genres, Ben can follow in their footsteps. I’m excited to see what Ben’s future has in store for him, and you can bet that I’ll be front row of the pit singing every word off Country in the House.

Stone Country Records was created in January of 2022. They launched with Easton Corbin and Ben being the first two artists they signed. Easton also released an album recently that you can read about here. It got rave reviews. Now with Ben releasing his album, both of their debut artists have fresh projects to work with. I’m excited to see how they do. I expect big things from both guys, and with a fresh, hungry label looking to make a name for itself, expect Stone Country Records to be making waves in the industry very soon.
