So if you didn’t know, Priscilla Block is blowing up. We have been on the Priscilla train since her 2019 Single Thick Thighs hit our ears for the first time. We are also really big fans of a track she helped pen called “Wyoming” too that you can check out HERE. We have even had Priscilla take over our Facebook to keep y’all entertained during the quarantine, and then all of the sudden Priscilla BLEW UP on Tik-Tok. She is one of the first big Country artist success stories from the music-laden social media platform, and it is great to see such a deserving artist getting some love from loads of new fans!
We got to ask Priscilla a few quick questions to let those that don’t know her in on a little bit about the release and who she is when she’s not strumming her guitar.
What inspired “Just About Over You”?
I had this idea for a long time – it’s real life. I’ve been through a time when I thought that I was over somebody, and then you see them or their mom reaches out to you. Anything that sets you back a little bit – that’s what inspired it.
How does it feel to be No. 1 on the iTunes Country Chart?
I’m still crying. It’s honestly overwhelming. I’m really, really thankful. I don’t think I’ve ever charted on iTunes, ever, so I’m feeling extremely grateful.
What’s your go-to karaoke song?
“Goodbye Earl” by The Chicks
Who are your favorite 90’s country artists?
That’s hard to pick! Would have to say George Strait, Tim McGraw, The Chicks, and Shania Twain to name a few.
Any fun/random facts you want to share?
I’m obsessed with dogs, and I have 2 rescues.
