Corey Kent talks New Music, Number One Success and Rocky Mountain Low On the Raised Rowdy Podcast

Corey Kent pulled up to the Raised Rowdy Podcast to catch up with us and this one felt like a real full circle moment.

We have known Corey since the early days. Back when he was grinding as an opener, cutting and writing great songs, and building this thing one fan at a time. Now he is celebrating another number one, moving tickets, and stepping into his next chapter with more momentum than ever.

In this episode, Corey talks about how much has changed over the years, from his sound and style to the way his brand has grown alongside the music. Nothing about it feels forced. It has all come naturally through time, experience, and trusting what feels true to who he is.

He also gets honest about the road at country radio. Corey has already seen the highs of a number one and the frustration of songs that fans loved long before radio caught up. That is part of what makes this current run feel so strong. The fans are showing up. The songs are connecting. And now radio is catching that too.

One of the coolest parts of the conversation is hearing how “Rocky Mountain Low” with Koe Wetzel came together. It was not overthought. It was not built by committee. It was two artists believing in a song and making it happen. The result feels exactly like what you would want from those two. Natural, rowdy, real.

Corey also opens up about his next record and why this one feels a little different. Not just another project. Not just another batch of songs. This sounds like a record he believes could define this chapter of his career.

There is a lot of good stuff in here beyond the music too. They get into touring, dream venues, fan connection, collaborations, family, and what success actually costs when you are trying to build something without losing yourself in the process.

It is a great episode with one of our favorite dudes. A real look at an artist who has put in the work and stayed true to himself.

Check out the full episode below and keep up with Corey Kent as he keeps this run rolling.
