What’s Two More? Ella Langley Releases Two More Hits

She did it again.

Ella Langley released two more hits: Dandelion on January 30th, and on February 13th, Langley released Be Her.

Both hits are certified catchy songs that will be stuck in your head for days on end. Both of these singles are set to be on Langley’s sophomore album, Dandelion, coming out April 10th.

Langley has been on a fast track to success ever since she collaborated with Koe Wetzel on That’s Why We Fight. Then in 2024, Langley released you look like you love me with Riley Green, and from there, it’s all history.

Also, Langley has been etching herself into country music history with her massive hit, Choosin’ Texas. The song is now certified platinum by the RIAA and has been number one on Billboard’s Top 100 list.

Going back to Langley’s new music, Dandelion is a smooth song that makes you feel like the windows are being rolled down in your soul.

The song opens up with the sounds of cicadas, and it instantly brings in a cloud of nostalgia. The soft strumming of a guitar, a cry of a steel guitar, and the banging of a kick drum lead into the first verse.

Langley describes herself as a dandelion flower floating on the breeze, tucked back into the weeds, showing that she is different from all the rest.

This song serves as the perfect title track for the album and I can see this one soar up the charts already. Something that I like about Langley is that she is not afraid to switch up her style. She started with louder and heavier rock-country music, like That’s Why We Fight, but with time, she experimented with softer music that is upbeat and catchy, and she knocked it out of the park.

The next song that she released, Be Her, lends to a more pop-y sounding song. Langley’s distinctive voice was on full display for this one.

This song goes hand in hand with Dandelion when it comes to themes as Langley is once again comparing herself to other girls.

“I don’t want to sound jealous but I do, cause I just wanna be her so bad, it hurts so bad,” is the main chorus and it’s for sure a catchy one.

This song makes me think of You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift. Although I’m not what they call a ‘Swiftie,’ that song is also catchy and this song by Langley lends to that idea of comparing herself to another girl.

Another line that I really like from the track is, “She drinks wine by the glass, not by the bottle, she ain’t stuck on the past or worried about tomorrow.”

Looking into these two songs, I am really excited for what else this album has to offer. Just having Choosin’ Texas, Dandelion and Be Her on one album is impressive enough, but the fact that she has more hits on the way is so exciting for Langley and her fans.

Langley also announced on February 2nd that she is going on tour. So, 2026 should be a huge year for Langley.
