Brayden Stewart released his new album and talk about a statement piece.
On April 25th, the Texas prodigy dropped Better Part of Me. Listeners of Stewart already know that his maturity in songwriting and raw talent is so far ahead of the game, and his ability to grasp different styles of music and fuse it to create his own sound is incredible. Throughout this record, you get the steady country spice that is in the blood of every Texas act popping right now. More than that though, the foundation is built upon gritty blues rock and man does Stewart pull it off effortlessly. Tracks like Friends & Snakes and Run Away With Me are just a couple standouts on the album that have that style.
It’s been said before about Texas artists coming up, and some who are already killing it at this current frame of time – the rock sound is king right now. With a certain style of a genre being the popular thing, over saturation is inevitable, and that doesn’t mean the artists are bad, it just means there can be so much of one thing, it’s hard to really stand out. Brayden Stewart stands out.
Do yourself a huge favor and go listen to Better Part of Me, a new album by Brayden Stewart.
