We’ve said it once; we’ll say it again – Dexter and The Moonrocks are in a league of their own right now.
The sound at the center of this band is totally unique and somehow finds a way to fit in the country genre and rock genre seemingly without question. The songwriting is relatable, the band is tight, they have personality and man, do they know how to market their brand. The Moonrocks have been on a roll and are killing it already in 2025.
On March 26th, the guys dropped their newest single, Say I…. Right away, you get that signature style that The Moonrocks have honed so well and made their own. The grungy, melancholy mix of emotion and intensity is ever-present and feels like a familiar face. The lyrics are great and show the evolving and maturing of the band’s songwriting that has been going on with each release.
