Kenny Feidler Captures Raw Energy in New Record, ‘Live at Buck’s’

On March 21st, we were blessed with a killer two hour long live record from Kenny Feidler. The album is called Live at Buck’s, and it is a must-listen. It is great seeing live albums making a comeback in the Texas and Red Dirt scene, especially because they are legitimately good – the production, performance and everything else is A-1, which makes for a solid live record.
Live at Buck’s is a great testament to Feidler’s live show. The energy doesn’t waver, his band puts on an excellent performance, and you aren’t missing a single track with the running time being two hours. While that may seem like a long time, you’ll be surprised how quickly it goes by, because Feidler drags you in and makes you feel like you are right there in the front row. The audience interaction is exactly what you want at any show and adds so much to the atmosphere as well.
“We take so much pride in our live show. We’re not big on flash and theatrics, but my band and I just go for blood every night and make music.  I feel like this is a great representation of that and to do it at a place like Buck’s, where you’re on the floor with the crowd, no big production and nothing to hide behind makes it all the more special,” Feidler says, “It’s about as raw and pure as it can get.”
