On March 7th, Tristan Tritt dropped his newest single, Stop the Ride.
Tritt’s EP, WHAT ARE WE DOING?, which was released last August, gave us a great picture of what he is capable of and his truly unique sound, which is mainly rock-centric, but has some cool elements of pop and punk in it as well. It is good to know he is still grinding and on a roll, as his new tune is a fantastic first release for 2025.
Stop the Ride starts out with, dare I say, a southern rock-ish/country intro, which is a good touch. It then quickly shifts into that Tristan Tritt sound we know and love – pure rock delivery full of attitude and emotion. Another thing noticeable is how Tritt’s songwriting has matured and progressed, which is awesome to see so soon from an upcoming artist. The production here really ties together the aesthetic and resulted in a quality product.
