We are at a cool time for new, modern rock bands connecting the dots to their classic roots, but spinning them in their own, fresh way.
THE BAND FEEL captures a retro, ‘70s sound in quite a few ways, but what makes them special is that they are no “copycat” group – they possess their own style and know how to consistently and uniquely progress with each release. Them, along with peers including The Retrograde, Dirty Honey and more have been carving a niche under today’s rock umbrella that is a groovy new sound we haven’t heard before.
On March 7th, THE BAND FEEL dropped their new single, Hands In My Pocket. The melody is incredible and will not leave your head all day, with a hook that gets you moving. A steady backbeat holds down the foundation with some chiming riffs coming from the guitar as vocalist Garrett Barcus delivers in his vocal work. Production is great and the tune is all-around structured perfectly.
