Nothing like some ‘90s alternative rock.
Even better than that is Revelry covering it. It’s been a little while since we heard from these boys, but man, they still got it. On February 21st, they dropped a new single – their rendition of What’s Up? by 4 Non Blondes. We all know and love the original tune (if you don’t, there’s something wrong with you), and Revelry really kicked it up a notch with their take on it. They bring their southern rock style while still maintaining the basic structure of the 4 Non Blondes version and paying an excellent tribute.
Production is fantastic, along with the killer harmonies in that iconic chorus. The groovy and booming rhythm section really nails down the beat while the roomy guitar and vocal work shine. This is a great cover, and any time we get new Revelry music is a plus. Go listen to their take on What’s Up? now!
