Grayson Russell has been tearing it all the way up recently. Staying busy with shows, constant releases and everything in between just seems to come naturally to him. When it comes to his singles we have seen so far, it is obvious he looks into each and every aspect of the lyrics, instrumentals and production to pop out the best possible result there can be, and on this Valentine’s Day, we got exactly that.
Go Cry Somewhere Else is one of those tunes you knew was going to be good, but once you listen to it for the first time, you realize just how good it is. The melody is fantastic – the hook is insane, and the delivery makes you want to sing along with Russell at the top of your lungs. The swinging, anthemic aesthetic here cements this song in his developing discography as a staple already, that’s just a fact. I can already hear audience members chanting for him to run this back in a live setting until the cows come home.
