Wimpy Kid Stars Grayson Russell and Zach Gordon Reunite for New Single, ‘Atlantic City’

Yes, before we get into anything else, Grayson Russell is Fregley and Zach Gordon is Greg Heffley from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie. For people like me who grew up with those books and movies, it was certainly an exciting day when I found out these two were going to drop a song together.
Here’s the thing, too – the two of them are legitimately great musicians. Both Russell and Gordon have released a few singles and they have shown that their talent and artistic ability goes beyond acting. On January 31st, the two dropped Atlantic City. The tune was originally written by Bruce Springsteen and covered by many other artists through the years, from The Band to Riley Green.
Grayson Russell and Zach Gordon are now a part of that club, and they put a very cool, unique spin on it. Both of their voices are clearly a different kind of style and sound, but it makes the tune feel more alive and sends you through a journey – maybe from two different points of view or two different moods. The production is excellent, making the song sound great sonically. The two make a great duo in the studio and hopefully we’ll hear some more of them both in the future.
Make sure to support and check out Grayson Russell and Zach Gordon’s separate work as well!
