Last Friday, Braxton Keith unveiled his latest single, “Fall This Way”— his first release since signing with Warner Music Nashville. The track also marks the second preview of his highly-anticipated EP, Blue, set to drop on December 6.
Written by Dan Alley, Davis Corley, and Mark Addison, “Fall This Way” is a soaring ballad sung from the perspective of a man consumed by love. With his smooth, soulful drawl, Keith passionately serenades a woman, describing how their love elevates him to transformative heights. His emotive vocals are perfectly matched by stirring instrumentation, which builds and swells throughout the song. The combination of Keith’s heartfelt delivery and sweeping melody makes it impossible not to be swept away, leaving an indelible mark on the heart and mind.
“Fall This Way” may be one of Keith’s strongest, most transcendent love songs yet. At the same time, it still fits the style of his traditionalist country sound and builds on his reputation as one of the best up-and-coming vocalists in the genre.
