Treaty Oak Revival is a band that has launched like a literal rocket ship. In an era where Texas music has leaned into the rock sound while maintaining its country foundation, artists and bands who try to hone that style can sometimes fall into obscurity, as it has become diluted in a sense. Treaty Oak, however, have been killing it since the start and have made their statement in the scene. Their last record, Have A Nice Day was an immediate hit, and since then they have followed it up with their newest single, Happy Face
Happy Face is a typical Treaty Oak Revival banger – the melody that sticks with you, the fantastic songwriting and the pure talent of vocalist Sam Canty and the rest of the group. Once the chorus hits, especially, it hooks you and keeps your head bobbing, as does the energetic drum work and chiming guitar. The production is great and amps up the sound that Treaty Oak has become so prominent with.
Unless you’re living under a rock, you know Treaty Oak Revival. That being said, if you are one of those rock-dwellers, make sure to check them out wherever you listen to music. After you do that, buy a ticket to a show, because this group in a live setting is something to behold. Go do all of that, and make sure to check out their newest single, Happy Face.
