Cue the obligatory “the Goose is loose”!
Nu metal champions, Silly Goose, just dropped a new EP on September 13th called Bad Behavior. The collection includes the previously released singles, Tsunami, Live It Up, and King Of The Hill, with two brand new tunes – the title track and Everything Is Over Now. If you love rap rock and that late ‘90s-early 2000s sound, but haven’t heard of Silly Goose yet, this is your sign to go give them a listen.
Bad Behavior is a sonic boom of heaviness, booming rhythm and chugging guitar with vocalist Jackson Foster rapping and screaming his way through without slowing down – and it’s awesome. Silly Goose fans have probably been spinning tracks like King Of The Hill, Live It Up and Tsunami for a while now prior to the EP’s release, so they know what they had to look forward to once it dropped. Everything Is Over Now shows off Foster’s more melodic side in some spots and shows how he has really been growing in that aspect. The title track kicks everything off nice and heavy in typical Silly G fashion as well.
The production brings a crisp new approach to a style some may consider “dated”, but this is obviously not the case. All around, Bad Behavior is a solid nu metal EP and another successful release coming from the group. Make sure to go check it out, and get ready to rock with the Goose!
