We all love an artist who isn’t afraid to put out music that is truly their style without bending to the pressure of keeping it inside a genre or certain sound. Corina Grove has been showing her talent and range in her past few releases, with her sound being a unique indie-pop base, but not set strictly in one avenue. Her newest single that dropped on August 30th, Play, is a fantastic example of Grove’s unique and consistently solid creativity.
Play is centered around one of the catchiest hooks and well-put together melodies that I’ve heard all year, so it’s automatically a very welcomed ear-worm. The track is very spacey and wide-open sonically, a trait that Grove has stuck with throughout her releases. The vocal work is fantastic and dances along with the keys and beat as the tune rolls along.
If you haven’t given Corina Grove a listen yet, there’s no better time than now. Go give her newest single, Play, a listen now!
