Jager Henry Kicks the Doors Down with New Album, ‘Heart of Thorns’

Rock is a very large genre with many subgenres, so it can often be difficult to come across a truly solid new artist and be thoroughly impressed and converted to a big fan upon first listen. You’re in luck, though, because Jager Henry is your guy. The LA artist has a style that mixes anything under the sun –this includes a punk rock attitude, metal vocals and even some hip-hop influences here and there. Henry dropped his debut album, Heart of Thorns, on August 23rd, and this is definitely a must-listen.
Heart of Thorns is a very solid first record and really kicks the door open to set a statement. The title track, Déjà Vu, Bite Down and Mortal Sacrifice in particular are some absolute bangers throughout the listen, but pointing out only those is a disservice because the entire track list is unskippable. We get the true, raw Jager Henry here as he leaves emotion in the spotlight with killer talent to back it up. The contributions of LiL Lotus and noah thomas are not to be overlooked, either. The production is extremely solid and is nothing but professional quality.
I can’t stress enough how good this album is, and it deserves widespread listens and praise. Go give Jager Henry’s Heart of Thorns a gander right now!
