The Revelry boys are back with their new single, Shadow. After they released their EP, South of Nashville, earlier this year, it’s been great to see them continue to grind and kill it, as shown by their single from July, Rollin’. The further maturing of the group’s songwriting, song crafting, and melody making delivers. Just about every element is put on display in the best way possible with each release. Revelry has figured out their sound and has really owned it.
Shadow is a lot tamer than most of their jukebox, toe-tappin’ tunes in the sense that the emotion and soul is amped up in a slowed down, lower tempo way. Vocalist Zack Montgomery really shows out here in his performance, and the guitar work is – as always with Revelry – performed in a top tier way. These boys literally don’t miss. They’re a classic example of a band that you can consistently count on for good releases.
