The Red Clay Strays Release New Song of F5 Proportions, ‘Caddo County’, for Twisters Soundtrack

The Red Clay Stays are unstoppable at the moment. Their blow-up over the past few months has been so great to watch, and they deserve every bit of it. You can credit the Theo Von podcast appearance, or maybe the other celebrity endorsements, but the fact of the matter is that these guys deserve any accolade they get. Their music is something new, with a mix of country, blues and rockabilly that can only be described as the style of only The Red Clay Strays.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you have heard of one of this summer’s biggest movies, Twisters, and unless you’re still under that rock, you have seen the absolute dynamite soundtrack that accompanies the flick. The Twisters album includes country bangers from artists all over the spectrum, like Luke Combs, Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Tyler Childers, Wyatt Flores and more. One of the strongest tracks, in my humble opinion, is Caddo County by The Red Clay Strays.
The southern rock structure is mastered here, with even a bit of heaviness to it that’ll get your head bobbin’. It’s nice to hear vocalist Brandon Coleman really rock out here with an energetic, high tempo delivery. The musicianship of the rest of the band is on point as always, and it’s so tight, with room for some groovy licks here and there. By the time this article is published, their newest record will be out, so I have a feeling we’ll have more Red Clay bangers on the way very soon!
Go give a listen to The Red Clay Stray’s track on the Twisters soundtrack, Caddo County. Also go check out their new album, Made by These Moments, releasing on the 26th.
