Lombardy Releases New Rocking Single, ‘Way Down’

Lombardy, a rock band out of Nashville, needs to blow up. They will blow up.
Consisting of Mike Scott on vocals and lead guitar, Jonathan Plevyak on vocals and rhythm guitar, Seth Rentfrow on bass, and Steve Mascarello on drums, this group of guys are unique and diverse in their style, have killer stage presence, and are work horses – basically, the complete package. They proved how well they can craft a song with their newest single released on June 21st, which is called Way Down.
Off the bat, you get a guitar intro that has a dope mix of grunge and ‘90s alternative – almost like Nirvana infused Red Hot Chili Peppers. The spooky, melancholy vocal work is an excellent touch, even when it grows to a climax throughout the song. The rhythm section keeps it rolling, especially the drums, which are super energetic and alive all the way to the end. The ambiance you are put in during this tune is half the charm, it just engulfs you and forces you to bob your head.
I’m telling you now, Lombardy kill and show no sign of slowing down. Get in on the sweetness and go give Way Down a listen now.
