On May 17th, he dropped his new single, and third from the new record, Sweet Dreams. The best thing about Koe is that he keeps you on your toes. It’s a broken record by now – “When is Koe gonna put out a country record?”
Truth is, Koe is going to put out what he wants to put out. Nowadays, genre is not important. That’s the beauty of it. On Sweet Dreams, the first thing that came to mind was that it is almost styled like an R&B song. The drum work lays down a solid backbeat with some chiming from the guitar as Koe dances vocally throughout the tune. The production is killer as always, giving us a warm, groovy aesthetic that works so well.
