Dexter and The Moonrocks Release Rockin’ New Single ‘She Likes Girls’

Dexter and The Moonrocks, a motley crew of musicians who have seemingly blasted off the past year and into the next, just dropped another heater. The Moonrocks signed as the flagship artist for the Big Loud and Severance Records joint venture rock label in January, which is huge for them, and there’s no doubt that this will only help them continue releasing the music that makes them so unique.

Their newest single, She Likes Girls, dropped officially on February 21st. According to their Instagram post, the group looks back on the two-year journey they went through to get to this point. This song was with them from the beginning, which was shown in a few slides that include their singer, James Tuffs, singing it on his own in May of 2022, followed by the group recording it in a bedroom a month later. After that, the song blew up on Tik Tok, which was huge for the band, and most likely responsible for the niche they now have on social media. From then on, She Likes Girls became their most requested song during their live shows.

Whelp, now we have an official, brand-spankin’ new studio version.

She Likes Girls has that melancholy aesthetic that Dexter and The Moonrocks absolutely own at this point. The production is fantastic and really helps deliver the punch of the guitar and tight rhythm section that grooves along throughout the tune. The melody is top tier and will immediately get stuck in your head in the best way possible.

The sad space cowboys have done it again, and I urge you to get on the ship before it blasts off. Go give Dexter and The Moonrock’s new single, She Likes Girls, a listen now!
