Dirty Honey is one of the most promising modern rock bands out there today. The blues rock inspired style conjured up by all four very talented musicians is super fresh and very consistent with each release they have. Their newest single released on August 18th, Can’t Find The Brakes, is a great example of how these fellas keep churning out heaters with fantastic hooks, melodies and the ability to make your head bob.
Can’t Find The Brakes has a solid continuous blues riff throughout the verses, giving it that “driving song” feeling. The rhythm section is solid and beefy, holding it down firm and building a solid bass for the guitar and vocals to dance on. Speaking of vocals, Marc LaBelle puts on a clinic once again on how to be a damn rock ‘n’ roll singer. I swear, the pipes on this guy never disappoint. The tune as a whole is sonically pleasing and is quite simply just another heater to add to the Dirty Honey catalogue.
