Southern Oklahoma’s own Brady Wilcox is releasing his newest single, “Curves,” tomorrow. With every release, he has put out more quality music that fits right into the hot current sound of the Texas/Red Dirt scene. “Curves” has a sweet melody, and the booming drums lead with a firm backbeat to accompany the guitar riffing. It’s a sonically pleasing song and the production is very well put together.
Wilcox describes the tune as follows:
“I wrote this song loosely with my mother in mind and my childhood. I wanted the song to hit home for women and men both. I hope it resonated with women and empowers them to feel bold, strong and to push forward, always. The lyrics are not pretty, nor is the story they paint a picture of, but the woman it talks about and her character are nothing short of beautiful.”
