Canaan Bryce, the rocker straight out of Waxahachie, Texas, blessed our ears with a new single called “Maybe.” His last release, “OKC,” was a swampy, gritty rock ‘n’ roll tune that pleasantly surprised me and looks like it’s now a favorite among his fanbase. After that one dropped, I hoped for another killer single from Bryce, and I was not disappointed. “Maybe” is sonically pleasing all around. The production is great – definitely pushing the full, towering riffs to the forefront. Bryce also crafted some solid lyrics to accompany the instrumentals very well.
“‘Maybe’ is a song I wrote in a very vulnerable point in my life. A point where I didn’t really understand which way was the right way. Do I change? Do I not change? Do I trust someone with my whole heart or leave them behind and move on? At that moment, do I even trust myself? ‘Maybe’ is one that I wrote for anyone that is or has been lost in life like I was at one point. Maybe I still am… maybe.” -Canaan Bryce
