Jason Charles Miller, former frontman of the rock band Godhead, has released his newest single. Included on the track is Austin Hanks, who is a great singer-songwriter and blues guitarist in his own right. The song is called “Chasing the Sun,” and boy is it a rocker. The bluesy riffs mix extremely well with the Americana elements throughout the tune, all while being driven by a highly energetic feel brought to the table by Miller’s vocal style.
The southern-fried rock ‘n’ roll is very prevalent, and it is reminiscent of something you may find on ZZ Top’s La Futura album. The production is top notch and helps spotlight the pure talent and musicianship from the personnel involved on this track.
