Canaan Bryce Brings the Grit in Newest Single ‘OKC’

Texas native Canaan Bryce released his newest hard rocking single OKC on December 30th. He hasn’t put anything out since his last song, “3am,” dropped last July – the reason for bringing that up is that in that short period of time in between, Bryce managed to craft another completely different sound in “OKC.” He appears to be in that group of artists who can consistently pull off different styles effortlessly, which is fortunately becoming more and more common in the Texas/Oklahoma scene.

As far as “OKC” is concerned, you are in luck if you love that swampy, dirty Southern Rock sound. Bryce captures the attitude of the scene he’s involved in perfectly, spotlighting the wild side of Texas rock ‘n’ roll consisting of plenty of booze, drugs, cheating (his words, not mine!) and crazy ass people. Sonically, this tune deserves a chef’s kiss. The distortion and fuzziness blares while Bryce tears it up vocally, the rhythm section booms without letting up, and the attitude is displayed right in front of your face.

Canaan Bryce is next up and it’s about time you get hip to it. Listen to “OKC” now!
