The dirty, gritty up-and-comers out of Tennessee are at it again. Revelry has released their sixth single titled “Part-Time Playboy” and boy do they bring it. It kicks off with a funky bass line that grooves along with a chugging beat of the drums, courtesy of Cruze Blanke, who is officially making his debut as the band’s new drummer in this song. After lead vocalist Zack Montgomery counts us in, the tune explodes from there. The rhythm guitar work is a mixture of blues and hard rock in style, which is complemented by some soloing that completely shreds.

The story told in “Part-Time Playboy” is a relatable one. It’s a tribute to all those guys out there who work all week, whether you’re blue-collar or pushing buttons, but always find time to catch a show and have some fun on the weekend. Revelry’s first single they released was tight to begin with, so fast forward five more and they have only improved. It’s crazy how tight the guys are in the studio and on stage.

Speaking of “on stage”, be sure to support Revelry and catch them at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on November 17th along with Bones Owens and Tony Martinez opening for Sometimes Y, which includes Yelawolf and Shooter Jennings. In the meantime, listen to their newest single below!
