Exclusive Premiere: Crack a Cold One with Reed Foley’s “Beer Needs Drinkin’”

Every single one of us has a way in which we like to unwind at the end of a busy day. Some like to cook, some like to go for a walk, or read a book. But what we all have in common is the need for some stress-free time, where we can kick back, relax, and let the worries wash away and enjoy the little moments. If you find comfort in a six-pack and wetting a line, rising country singer Reed Foley’s new single is perfect for you to set the mood and kick back (or get a little rowdy, we’re not judging.)

The track releases everywhere on October 21st, but you can listen to it exclusively right now, only on Raised Rowdy! Pre-save here.

“Beer Needs Drinkin’” is a feel-good song with a catchy beat, opening with the heavenly sound of popping a tab. This track tells a classic country story of an everyday man, attempting to put his mind at ease, to forget the stressors of his everyday life. Reed really understands the struggles we can all relate to, and in “Beer Needs Drinkin’”, there’s a sense of camaraderie with the common man.

Native from the mountains of Sparta, North Carolina, Reed Foley is making a name for himself as a singer-songwriter in the world of country music. Reed’s southern accent and raw vocals demonstrate a solid authenticity from the first note, while also giving the artist a truly unique voice, helping him reach audiences around the country.

The extremely talented singer started performing at the young age of 15 and his talent has taken him from small-town bars to some of NASCAR’s biggest stages, along with everything in between. Reed’s music draws influences from some of country music’s brightest stars including Eric Church, Morgan Wallen, Lee Brice & Others. When not in Music City, Reed has been playing over 150 gigs a year and has become one of the most popular entertainers in his home state of Florida. He’s recently been a featured artist at several national association conventions and is the “go-to” artist for several local and regional charities. Speaking of charity work, Reed’s runs an annual Toys for Tots campaign that has raised over $20,000.

In March of 2017, Reed released his first single, “Who’s Turning You On” and celebrated that same day by opening for Tyler Farr and Jason Aldean at Runaway Country Music Festival.  Following the release of his single, he was soon after invited to open for William Michael Morgan.  When not performing, the artist can be found in Nashville writing with some of the industry’s best like Clay Mills, Terry McBride, and Brett Sheroky.

Reed is making it obvious that he’s come to stay, and he will continue to show his talent in music, blessing audiences with his unique voice and incredible lyrics. As the artist continues his music career, he will quickly make its way into people’s playlists, helping us enjoy life to the fullest, while also helping us appreciate the stress-free moments we have to forget our problems.
