Austin Meade, who is one of the top artists to watch out of Texas currently, has released a new single, “Rosé Romance.” With Meade, you never know what you’re going to get. Every record has been different and fresh and every song has a different structure and creative energy. “Rosé Romance,” the fourth single on his upcoming record, is yet another example of the ever-evolving sound that Meade and his band are exploring. Much like his last release, “Red Roof Estates,” there is definitely a funk and almost disco-infused style that he’s going for. The rhythm section is absolutely electric as it drives the song along, all while the guitar work balances it out with some retro riffing. Meade’s songwriting is better than ever with fun wordplay. I mean, “Rosé Romance” just rolls off the tongue, you can’t deny that. To give credit where credit is due, the production is also fantastic with the clean, but booming sound (shoutout producer Taylor Kimball).
That’s not all – Meade also released the music video for “Rosé Romance” and announced the new record. First of all, the video is great. The super relatable lyrics are conveyed perfectly with his typical creative vision. You can also look for a cameo by none other than Read Southall in the last couple minutes. Also, we got an album coming. Meade posted the following on his socials:
“My full album, Abstract Art of an Unstable Mind, comes out Oct. 7th. Worked my ass off for 2 years on this.”
There you have it. Mark your calendars for the 7th of October for the new record, but in the meantime, check out “Rosé Romance” now!
