The Delta Sons have dropped another killer single by the name of “Mississippi.” The past releases the band have put out so far have been very impressive for up-and-comers and this one is absolutely no exception. “Mississippi” is different than the majority of their singles because it has a story reminiscent of an old traditional Western gunslinger song with the Delta Sons’ own unique flare. The songwriting is great and the vocals are top notch in delivery. The southern rock sound is prominent here with a very nice acoustic opening followed by the rest of the guys kicking in with their own twangy style, which further shows the band as a whole maturing and getting tighter with each release.
