The Comancheros bring it once again with their cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Mississippi Kid.” Adding a whole new sound, including heavier riffs and a sludgier tone, they definitely bring their own flavor that complements the song well. This tune features Black Stone Cherry’s guitarist, Ben Wells, who delivered the first solo.
“Richard Young produced our last record. That kind of introduced us to Black Stone Cherry and that whole Kentucky crew. We clicked with Ben because he’s a big Star Wars fan. We were so stoked to have him on board,” The Comancheros explain.
