Matt Daniel’s new single “Better Place” is coming in hot and straight out of Texas. With one of the most unique and authentic voices I’ve heard in a long time, Daniel sure packs a punch with this one. What (to me) sounds like a classic country tune mixed with that modern-day Texas flair makes for a fantastic collaboration of genres. Written with his Revival buddy and hit songwriter Rob Snyder, “Better Place” really does bring a perfect mix of Tennessee and Texas. Daniel earned this sound after years playing the Nashville scene and recently taking his talents out west to the unbelievably talented Lone Star state. “Better Place” is the first single off Daniel’s upcoming record, All I’ll Ever Need, which will be released in February.
There are also three more singles set to release in September, October, and January prior to the album. Daniel and his team recorded this project at the famous KSIJ studio in Gladewater, Texas. Once used by legendary icons like Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis, the producer of the album, Chad Mauldin, now runs the fort. This allowed Daniel and his team to spend all of the time they needed to get the record right and have some fun. It’s scheduled to be an exciting year for Matt Daniel and his team, and they are just getting started.
