Steven Nix Releases His First Single “More Than I’ll Ever Need”

Nick Tressler Raised Rowdy Founder
Steven Nix is not a new name around Nashville. He moved to Nashville his senior year of high schol and since then, he has been writing songs all around Nashville with the likes of Canaan Smith, Dylan Schneider and Walker Hayes, as well as some of the hottest writers in town.  Steven even got a song he had solo written cut by Disney with vocals from Scotty McCreery, Kelsea Ballerini, Lauren Alaina, LoCash, Lindsay Ell, Mickey Guyton and more great artists. But after cutting his teeth in the writing room the last few years, Steven has decided it was time to give us music he performs as well so we can get an idea of who he is as an artist.  Steven released “More Than I’ll Ever Need” as his debut single and we can’t get it out of our head since the first listen.

The track talks about some of the things that make Country Folk, Country. Things like having enough to get by and little things that can go a long way to making oneself happy. Things like a good woman, some hunting trophies, a reliable truck, ice cold beer and a hand me down shotgun from his old man. It’s an upbeat track that explains exactly what he has to be thankful for. Steven, who wrote the track with Bill Roemer, told us “I’m proud of this song and the fact that it’s my first release because it introduces me to the world as an artist for who I am.”

That my friends is a Country man signing about Country things.  You don’t really need much more than that. So grab your Zebco and that special person in your life and remember how much there is to be thankful for.
