Country Music World, Meet Kelsey Hart and His New Single “Let It Ring”

Nick Tressler Raised Rowdy Founder

Kelsey Hart is a name you might know if you are around the Nashville music scene. Kelsey, who shares his life between songwriting and his day job as a barber, has been a frequent visitor and writer in music city for some time now, often playing in writers rounds and enjoying libations at local haunts around town. Kelsey had his first success as a songwriter with a Jake Owen cut called “Long As You’re In It” that was released on Jake’s Greatest Hits record. Now, Kelsey has released his debut original track and we think it is the start of the rise for his star in the music world. “Let It Ring” is the first time we get to hear Kelsey’s silky voice tear into a track with top end production.

Kelsey told us “Let It Ring is a song I co-wrote with two of my best friends in Nashville, Dustin Huff and Mason Thornley. We wrote the song about a year ago and have known for quite some time that we wanted to single the song at some point. When I played it for my producer Tommy Cecil he agreed that it was a special song and was excited to start working on it.”

The track tells the familiar tale of calling someone that you shouldn’t when you had a few too many on a weekend night. That lost love, even if you bring it back for a short time, does nothing but cause you pain in the long run. The theme is frequently used in country music but Kelsey’s endearing Kentucky drawl and vocal range takes this track to a place that is pretty special.

Check out this track and get ready for even more music from Kelsey. We have seen Kelsey live and he has a whole mess of more songs for us to hear that are just as good as this one!
