Alec Davis makes old school new again with “It All Comes Back Around”

Alec went back to his frequent co-writer Nate White to get this song written. They have amazing writing chemistry and seem to understand what each other are trying to do musically. Alec tells us they have many more collaborations to be released in the future.

Well Alec, we sure are glad you took your time because we think you got it JUST right.  Backed up by Brent Mason on lead and rhythm guitar and Kelby Ray of THE Cadillac Three on Lap Steel, this song winds and jeers to a familiar but distinct groove.

 

A little Southern Rock, a little bit stripped down Arena Rock and Country as all hell. You are sure to have this one on repeat once it catches your ears.

 

If you heard some of Alec’s other releases you might notice that this track is definitely a little different. He told us, “Our shows are high-energy, we do a lot of upbeat rockers that haven’t been released yet. So I wanted to give people a taste of what it’s like at an Alec Davis concert.”

 

We can’t wait to hear even more from Alec, but until we do give this one a listen or twelve and let us know what you think.
