Cole Swindell Releases Live Version of “Dad’s Old Number”and DAMN…

Cole Swindell released a live version of his emotional “Dad’s Old Number” just in time for Father’s Day and everyone is crying.  This song is about dialing an old phone number of someone that has always been there to help, guide or just listen to everything going on in your life.  You can feel how close this song is to Cole as he lost his father back in 2013, just weeks after signing his first record deal.

“Dad’s Old Number” will make you think twice about being upset when answering an unknown number only to hear no response on the other end of the line.  With numbers being reused, yours could’ve meant the world to the person on the other end in a previous life.

Cole recorded this live version at one of our favorite venues in Chicago, Joe’s Live.  Joe’s is an intimate venue that opened in 2016 as a secondary location to the legendary Joe’s on Weed.   Joe’s Live has quickly become not only a fan favorite but artist’s favorite as well.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads that are still in our lives and those that have passed. Sorry we are a little late on it.
