Nick Tressler Raised Rowdy Founder and BIG fan of Kameron Marloooooooooooowe
North Carolina-raised Kameron Marlowe’s vocal talent is undeniable. We first learned of Kameron on The Voice with his electric cover of Luke Combs “One Number Away”.
His rendition not only excited the judges, but also got the attention of Combs himself who was quick to make contact with him after the show aired. At the ripe young age of 22, Kameron is already a powerhouse vocally, but he is out to show his musical prowess does not end there. He has been practicing guitar and working hard to write songs that mean something to him and those around him.
Following a Top 24 performance on Season 15 of NBC’s “The Voice”, Kameron hit the ground running in preparation for releasing his debut single, “Giving You Up” by getting into the studio with award-winning producer Brad Hill. They crafted a song that featured the best of what Kameron had to say and really told a story about how he got there.
Kameron told us, “It’s been a long process working to get my music out, and I couldn’t be more excited that the day is finally here. When we were in the studio, I knew this song was going to be special. Brad (Hill) and all the players did an incredible job bringing this song to life. When we got the mix back from Jim Cooley, the anticipation just grew even more.
“‘Giving You Up’ is a personal one for me. As an artist, I want to be authentic, and this song accomplishes that.
“The inspiration came from a heartbreak. I got a call one night from the girl that had broken my heart, at a time we had both kind of moved on. We were starting new relationships with new people. In my head, I thought, ‘this is probably a terrible idea,’ but I picked up the phone anyway. She hinted at missing me, and I didn’t know if she meant it or if she just wanted to get into my head. The conversation died and when I hung up the phone, I sort of said out loud, ‘I’m giving you up.’ I thought about it for a second and went over to my guitar and wrote this song. If anyone’s ever been through heartbreak, I think they’ll be able to relate to this song. I’m just pumped to finally get music out to my fans, and give my career an official starting point and see what happens from here.“
We cannot wait to see what this song does and for even more music from Kameron. The sky is the limit on this young singer and we can’t wait to watch his career take flight.
