“Can’t You See” by the Marshall Tucker Band is on the list of my top ten favorite songs of all time. Since its released in 1973, many notable country artists have covered this iconic song from Waylon Jennings to Hank Williams Jr. to the Zac Brown Band. Each artist made it their own and carried on MTB’s legacy in their own way. But holy cow, have you heard Drake White’s take on the classic?

Recorded at the Bluestone in Columbus Ohio, the soul and grit in Drake’s vocals take the song to a new level. This rendition fuses southern rock, blues, and country roots, putting a smile on the faces of people who are die hard Marshall Tucker Band fans as well as new era country music lovers alike.
