Kristen Foreman grew up immersed in Louisiana Cajun culture and knew from an early age that she would chase her musical dreams. After graduating with a marketing degree from Louisiana State University, she dived whole heartily into making music and performing all over the country, eventually moving to Music City to pursue performing and her greatest passion, songwriting. You can hear just how much her passion is reflected in her work by listening to her latest release, “Blackout.”

Kristen bids her old flame good riddance in this eerie farewell, giving you all the feels associated with the buckling down and the moving on that comes with a breakup. It will no doubt have you reaching for your own glass of gin as you listen along. In “Blackout”, Kristen shares her take on a darker country sound that will continuously get stuck in your head. It is reminiscent of an edgier version of some of Kristen’s greatest musical influences like Lee Ann Womack and Kacey Musgraves. So turn it up, and let the melody leave you feeling haunted in the best kind of way.
