This level of pain and this type of year breaks most people. My friends and I wondered what Jackie was going through. Watching from afar you never know someones struggles. Now we know. Jackie’s pain poured out in song. Blood and sorrow in every note. It is now here to help so many. That is what music, specifically country music, does so well. Sad songs eventually makes you happy. I have been thinking about this all day. Here is to Jackie and hoping sharing his tale helps heal his own wounds.
