The Set Up:
The Borough catches the eye upon entering with its bar located directly in the middle of the establishment. To the right of the bar is where you will find the stage. There is seating throughout the venue, mainly to the left of the bar, with several booths lining the wall. However, when there is a show at The Borough, you will find most people pressed as close to the stage as possible. Front row or don’t go, right?
If you arrive early enough, you can secure an actual parking space next to the front doors of The Borough, however, if you’re a little late, don’t worry. There is plenty of space behind The Borough to park in the grass. Songs like We Do It in a Field have to come from somewhere.
Suds and Grub:
The Borough offers a wide range of food and drink options. With American cuisine, you can be sure to grab a great burger or an order of wings before a show. With multiple beers on tap and in bottles, you’re sure to find your favorite brew. The Borough also has specialty cocktails – if you’re looking for an homage to the Georgia Southern Eagles, order The Eagle’s Margarita.
The Vibe:
The Borough is a laid-back bar that college students and locals alike can enjoy. It is up and coming in Georgia as a host to some great live music acts, having already added artists like Riley Green, Muscadine Bloodline, Trea Landon, and Jordan Fletcher to their resume. If you’re ever in the area and want to check out the town where Luke Bryan and Cole Swindell spent their college years, The Borough is a solid choice for good hangs and great music.
