Country music newcomer, Morgan Johnston hails from Cape Cod, Massachusetts where she learned how to play guitar and write her first songs at the age of thirteen. Now, she has made the move to Nashville and is pursuing her career as a singer/songwriter.

Morgan released her first single, “Good Guy”, in August of 2018 and has not looked back. With over 100,000 Spotify streams, “Good Guy” has introduced Morgan to her listeners and the world of country music. And now, we finally have a follow-up.

“Whatever Helps You Sleep at Night” highlights Morgan’s songwriting and vocal abilities. The track also showcases Morgan’s story telling by listing out ways that her significant other can justify why they ended with lines like “you can tell yourself we’re better separate and it wasn’t worth the fight… whatever helps you sleep at night.”

This track is an upbeat kiss-off to the guy that ended things and honestly, I kinda want to give Morgan a high five. This is a tune that any gal, or guy, can relate to if you’ve had to tell someone goodbye.

Give “Whatever Helps You Sleep at Night” a spin and add it to your movin’ on playlist!
