This week we are featuring Warren Garrett’s “First Time”. Warren wrote this song solo and explains the meaning behind the lyrics “My first serious relationship was when I was 17 and the girl broke up with me in my little green Nissan car I had at the time (she lived in North GA). That was the first intense breakup I’d ever really had”.
Warren goes on to explain how each time he has had a serious breakup the pain feels just like the “First Time”. Warren adds, “heartbreak doesn’t get any easier. Every time it happened, it always felt like the first time”.
