339 Amity Ridge Road, Amity, Pa 15311
724-228-1059
Open Tuesday – Sunday at 11AM

Setup:

When you first pull into the parking lot, you would swear it was the 1880s. Greeted by a giant cowboy with yellow sign sporting it’s name Rinky Dinks is the “Real Deal” in Honkytonks. From its doorman/bouncer to its wide range of talent who have played there.

On your left you find the ATM (it’s a cash only bar), a pool table, bathrooms, couch and chairs that makes a nice hang out spot. During the winter months there is a wood stove that keeps the whole bar heated. As you walk in you’ll see the whole bar which makes kind of a W shape with stools all around it. When you turn to your left you’ll see glass doors and there is the dining room/dancehall open on Fridays and Saturdays and special events.

Suds and Grub:

You’ll find your standard beer selection that you would find at most bars. Just don’t expect find craft beers or other strange brews. All drinks are reasonably priced so don’t expect to pay $5.00 a beer or anything like that. Recommend you try the “Black Cherry” shots once you have had them you’ll be asking every bar how it’s made.

Food ranges from pizza to hoagies to normal bar food. Known for their famous Steak dinners you can’t beat the price for the amount of food you get.

The Vibe:

When you look up “honkytonk” in the dictionary you would probably find a picture of Rinky Dinks. Orginal hardwood floors, old logs that were probably there when it was first built. The walls and ceilings are decorated of memorabilia and antiques. Artists who have played there range from Little Jimmy Dickens, Hank Williams III, John Anderson, Gene Watson, David Allen Coe, Rhett Akins, Daryle Singletary, Brinley Addington, and more.

There is a sign by the glass doors into the dining room the reads “Hank Williams is the King of this Honky Tonk” and it’s the truth. Nothing beats the moment when you are in with some of the locals and an old classic country song comes. At that moment all the problems go away.
