Chris Stapleton brings Sturgill Simpson onto SNL for two spectacular songs

Last night on the Eve of the Grammys, Chris Stapleton brought out fellow Kentucky songsmith Sturgill Simpson for the performance of his two songs “Midnight Train to Memphis” and “Hard Livin”.Both have been on SNL previously but this timing of this one seemed very important for Country music. By sharing the stay with Sturgill Stapleton seemed to pay Homage to the new outlaw rising in Country music.

Let’s hope this is the start of a mega tour to be announced for this summer. I for one know I would be getting pit tickets for that show at all costs!
